About This Site
Our Scope
V2Ray for Linux is an independent site for V2Ray guides and client downloads. It offers setup documentation in multiple languages and is not affiliated with client development projects. Coverage includes Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, with guides to installing v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG, importing subscriptions, and configuring system proxies and TUN. This site does not provide nodes, subscription services, or accounts.
Project V and the Core Ecosystem
Project V is an open-source ecosystem of networking tools built around V2Ray. The V2Fly community continues to maintain the V2Ray core, while Xray evolved as a fork of V2Ray, following a different path of feature development. Cores handle protocols, routing, and connections; graphical clients manage subscriptions, settings, and startup. They serve different roles, so choose a setup by checking client support, core capabilities, and server configuration together.
Download and Guide Maintenance
Download listings are maintained by checking app names, platform architectures, release sources, and package formats. Installers for different clients are never treated as interchangeable. Guides are reviewed against actual steps in the graphical interface, with menu names, permission requirements, and applicable conditions made clear. When interfaces change between versions, differences should be noted; compatibility with untested environments is not guaranteed. If you run into trouble, start with the user guide, then consult the full documentation.
Responsible Use
This site's content is for technical learning and lawful network configuration. Follow the laws and regulations where you live and the rules of the networks you use. Assess subscription sources, terms of service, and data-handling risks independently. The documentation does not guarantee third-party services. Before changing system routes or enabling TUN, record your current settings so you can restore them if needed.
